Since 2008 silversmithing has developed into a strong part of my jewellery, opening new doors for me to combine contrasts not only in colour and technique but also in shape.

I taught myself the old technique of bead crochet with the intention of using it not just with conventional glass rocaille beads, but other unusual materials too, such as coloured wood, seed pearls, shells, antique facetted cut glass or tiny gemstones.

I find inspiration in the materials themselves and in old botanical studies, nevertheless, all my work evolves while making.

All my necklaces, bracelets and earrings are unique, one-off pieces, especially as vintage beads are limited and the jewellery pieces made with them cannot be reproduced.
